The founders of S.T.R.A.N.D.™ (Stylists Training, Researching, and Networking with Dermatologists) are heading to Coppin State University to discuss how their innovation in creating the country’s first dermatologic salon has transformed the way dermatologists and cosmetologists treat scalp and hair concerns.


During this session, S.T.R.A.N.D. co-founders Chesahna Kindred, MD, MBA, FAAD and Master Licensed Cosmetologist/Hair Loss Specialist Susan L. Peterkin join Coppin State University for Women’s History Month to discuss how S.T.R.A.N.D.’s collaborative model is evolving dermatology and cosmetology. Join us to learn how their collaborative approach connects the medical care of the clinic with the wellness practices of the salon to support early detection, improve treatment outcomes, and provide comprehensive guidance to patients throughout their healthcare journey.
