Wide bristle surface area allows for brush to easily work through thick hair or large sections, decreasing overall detangling time.
SUITABLE FOR ALL HAIR TYPES AND TEXTURES
Strand-safe design is beneficial for all hair that is prone to tangles and knotting.
HOW TO USE:
• Increase slip and reduce friction by lightly dampening hair and applying a leave-in conditioner or lightweight oil.
• Section hair into 4–8 sections (or more, depending on hair density) to keep detangling manageable.
• Starting with one section, gently loosen larger knots using your fingers, working from the ends upward.
• Using the brush, begin detangling at the ends and slowly work your way toward the roots. If the brush meets resistance, pause and gently re-brush to release knots—never force through.
• Continue working upward until the brush glides smoothly from roots to ends.
• Clip the completed section aside and repeat until all sections are detangled.
BEST SUITED FOR
Use this brush to gently work out knots in the hair or brush through leave-in treatments to reduce breakage during maintenance steps. Low tension detangling is ideal for prep steps, not ideal for high tension brush styling techniques.
ABOUT THE HEALTHY HAIR BRUSH
The Healthy Hair Brush was created from real salon experience and a deep commitment to improving care for clients experiencing hair loss.
In 2018, while browsing a local beauty supply store, Susan L. Peterkin discovered a detangling brush she quickly began using on her hair loss clients because of its gentle performance. It became a go-to tool until durability became an issue. After repeatedly replacing broken brushes, she began exploring ways to improve the design, especially after discovering it was not patented.
In 2021, Susan began working closely with manufacturers, providing in-salon feedback to refine the brush’s structure. She explored different mold and injection techniques to improve both flexibility and durability, even going as far as testing prototypes by stepping on them to ensure they could withstand real-world salon use.
The result is a thoughtfully engineered detangling brush designed to protect fragile strands while meeting the demands of salon professionals.
As development progressed, similar designs began entering the market. Still, Susan pushed forward, knowing existing options weren’t salon ready. After placing her first production order in 2022, the brushes quickly sold out to both clients and fellow cosmetologists.
Now, the Healthy Hair Brush returns with an even more durable design and is the official brush of PeterKINdred Hair & Scalp Wellness Center and The S.T.R.A.N.D. Network. Trusted by professionals and recommended for those seeking a gentler approach to detangling, especially clients experiencing hair loss.

WHO CAN PURCHASE THE BRUSH FOR WHOLESALE?
Cosmetologists, natural hair stylists, and barbers are able to place wholesale orders of The Healthy Hair Brush.
Wholesale brush orders come in quantity increments of 10 or 60. You will be asked to submit verification of your professional credentials upon purchase. If you do not fit this criteria, S.T.R.A.N.D. has the right to cancel your order.
IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY
A minimum of 10 brushes must be purchased per order.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PLACE A WHOLESALE ORDER?
A case of 10 brushes costs $75 and a case of 60 cost $425 before shipping.
